Emerson Process Management”s Fisher 4320 wireless position monitor uses industry-standard WirelessHART communications to provide accurate and reliable position monitoring at 10 percent to 20 percent of the installed cost of a wired solution. The wireless device is capable of monitoring equipment such as valves, regulators, louvers, displacement and float level sensors, and relief valves in standard and hazardous area locations. The device”s patented non-contacting rotary and linear monitoring technology is adaptable to almost anything where a percent of span is desired.

The 4320 wireless position monitor is part of Emerson’s range of digital field devices that power the PlantWeb architecture, which is designed to improve plant efficiency by 2 percent and more through delivering asset optimization, process automation, and management execution. The position monitor has a 5- to 10- year battery life and is fully compatible with Emerson”s existing Smart Wireless networks.
