Groundbreaking ceremonies for a new WILO EMU (www.wilo-emu-usa.com) North American facility were held recently in Thomasville, Ga. This facility, along with other offices and service centers across North America, is expected to increase the availability WILO EMU”s pumps and mixers. The building will include offices, training facilities, manufacturing bays, warehouse space, and shipping areas — all linked through wireless computer interfaces. The new facility is sited on 10 acres, which provides room for future expansion. A six-meter deep test pit will be housed within the facility. Also, there will be a smaller demonstration tank featuring a viewing window, which will be incorporated into the wall of the central training room and allow comfortable observation of pumping and mixing presentations. Terry Rouse, president and CEO of WILO EMU USA LLC., said in a prepared statement, "The construction of this new facility clearly demonstrates the large-scale commitment that the WILO Group is making to the North American marketplace and, most importantly, it will help support the rapidly growing demand for WILO EMU pumps and mixers in this part of the world." The WILO EMU facility is scheduled for completion in Spring of 2007.
