Madison Company”sMAD4500 and MAD4510 hydrostatic pressure level sensors are approved toUL/cUL913 (CSA 157) Class I Div 1, Groups C and D for use inintrinsically safe areas with an approved barrier. The sensors areconstructed from high-strength stainless steel and are suitable forharsh environments, both indoors and outdoors. They are compatible witha  range of liquids and are a good fit for such applications asground water level depth measurement; earthen and concrete dams; liquidtanks; gasoline and diesel fuel tanks; irrigation; and wastewatercanals. The sensors support liquid pressure up to 100 PSIG. Otherbenefits include a wide operating temperature range and EMI/RFIprotection. The sensors are part of Madison”s PR Series, which alsoincludes Madison-Omni(R) pressure sensors with integrated programmabledisplays and the Madison-Omni(R) differential-pressure transmitter.
