Tyco Flow Control (www.tycoflow control.com), a manufacturer of valve and actuator products, opened its first service center in China, located at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP) in Jin Shan. The opening of the center is part of a global strategy for Tyco Flow Control, together with sister company Tyco Thermal Controls, to provide more local service and maintenance to its customers.
The Tyco SCIP Service Center covers a total area of 2,500 square meters, with the service facility itself covering 1,400 square meters. The center will offer services ranging from maintenance and spare parts replacements to testing and emergency breakdown on call. Tyco Flow Control (valve and control products) and Tyco Thermal Controls (heat-tracing products) will both operate out of the service center.
Tyco Flow Control has 12,500 employees in some 80 countries around the world.
