Busak+Shamban, part of the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (www.tss.trelleborg.com) business unit, officially changed its name to Trelleborg Sealing Solutions on Apr. 2.

Busak+Shamban was originally established as the global sales and marketing arm of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions after it was acquired by parent company Trelleborg AB in Oct. 2003. Following the acquisition, the global sales and marketing arm continued to operate under the existing Busak+Shamban brand, while the manufacturing part of the organization adopted the Trelleborg name. Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a Trelleborg AB business unit, includes an international network of over 60 facilities worldwide, including 32 manufacturing sites, materials and development laboratories, and design and application centers.

"The transfer in name will be seamless," said Claus Barsoe, president of the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions business area, in a prepared statement. "We feel this change will unify our total brand offering, emphasizing that our marketing and sales arm and manufacturing operations run as a cohesive unit."
