Parker FluidControl Division”s Sinclair Collins line of process control valves nowoffers a three-port marine selector valve for electric remote tankselection in boats with multiple gasoline fuel tanks. The valve permitscontinuous engine function during tank switching, from the safety andconvenience of the boat’s control panel. The two-way, normally closedvalve, rated for fuel safety shutoff, features integral solenoids and amanual override in a one-piece construction. Applications for thisvalve include marine engines, generator sets, and cross-over pipingarrangements, as well as fuel balancing. The valve can be installed inmedium-sized yachts, commercial fishing craft, personal fishing boats, and inboard/outboard engine boats. The Marine Selector Valve ismanufactured with three ports for fuel return in gasoline tanks andcomes with a two-year warranty.  Constructed in aluminum, the newvalve has a flow capacity of 180 GPH and fuel line connections of 1/2″Female NPT. Electrical specifications include a molded coil enclosurewith yoke, 18-inch lead connections and 12 or 24 VDC voltage. The valvecan operate with a maximum ambient temperature of 80 C or 176 F and amaximum media temperature of 71 C or 160 F.  It can also withstanda maximum operating pressure differential of three PSI when used with a10-watt class F coil.
