Rick Buntin will serve as sales manager of engineered products for Thermo Fisher Scientific”s Fluid Handling Group.

Thermo Fisher Scientific (www.thermofisher.com) named Rick Buntin sales manager of engineered projects for its Fluid Handling Group in Barrington, Ill. In this newly created position, Buntin will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising engineered projects sales opportunities for all Thermo Fisher process fluid handling markets, including working with consulting engineers in their specification efforts for peristaltic pumps. He will also work in conjunction with Thermo Fisher Scientific’s territory managers, internal sales manager, marketing manager, and director of engineering to specify and sell the company’s full line of peristaltic pumping systems in North America, which includes the Thermo Scientific Masterflex and Ponndorf peristaltic pumps.

Buntin previously served as Northwest Territory manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific. He is a 19-year veteran of the fluid handling industry and has been integrally involved in peristaltic pump technology sales and marketing for more than 10 years.
