Val-Matic’s Swing-Flex Check Valve has a maintenance-free design, low headloss, and non-slam characteristics. The valve’s smooth, unrestricted 100-percent full flow design makes it a good fit for sludge and slurries. The check valve’s non-slam performance is achieved by placing the valve seat on a 45-degree angle to minimize disc travel and by utilizing the Memory-Flex Disc return feature. The Memory-Flex disc with its integral O-ring type seal and design is to assure drop-tight seating at both high and low working pressures. The check valve is available in sizes 2 inches to 48 inches with fusion-bonded epoxy interior and exterior for pressure ranges up to 250 PSI. A variety of accessories are available including backflow actuators and disc position indicators. The Swing-Flex has been independently flow-, cycle- and proof-of-performance tested. The check valve fully complies with AWWA C508, meets NSF/ANSI 61 for potable water use, and is NSF/ANSI 372 Certified Lead-Free by WQA. All Swing-Flex Check Valves are manufactured under a certified ISO 9001 quality system. – www.valmatic.com
