, a provider of investment casting solutions based in Hartford, Wisc., named Christopher Kovach as vice president of engineering.

Most recently Mr. Kovach was acting vice president of quality and director of quality having been promoted from quality process lead for Alcoa Power and Propulsion of Independence, OH. Mr. Kovach served in various process engineering and quality related positions for PCC Airfoils, Crooksville OH; AETC, Inc of Leeds, England and Hitchiner Manufacturing, Co., Inc of Milford, NH. Mr. Kovach also served as Ceramic, Process and Development Engineer in a previous tenure with Signicast.

Mr. Kovach received his bachelor”s degree in Ceramic Engineering (BsC) from Rutgers University College of Engineering in New Brunswick, NJ. In his new role with Signicast, Mr. Kovach will oversee all mechanical and process engineering-related activities for the company in both the Hartford and Milwaukee locations.
