GF Piping’s Signet 8150 battery-powered flow totalizer is designed for use in applications where battery-powered operation is most effective. Applications include wastewater flow accumulation, water treatment systems, remote or mobile treatment and distribution systems, irrigation, filtration, and a number of process flow and cooling uses. The unit features standard lithium batteries, making it a good fit for remote or mobile installations where access to line power is limited. Because of its low power consumption design, the batteries are rated to last up to four years (nominal). The unit is offered with three totalizers — two are resettable for long- and short-term monitoring, and the third is permanent. A large LCD displays both flowrate and total flow volume simultaneously. Panel mount versions feature a NEMA 4X front and an optional rear cover kit for enclosure protection. For security, the the unit can be programmed by a user-selectable access code to prevent unwanted changes. The unit can also be mounted to a surface near the sensor via an optional Universal Adapter Kit (3-8050).
