 side-entry mixer meets the requirements forsediment and water control, homogenizing, blending, and temperatureuniformity of crude oils and refined products.
 The mixer is designedprimarily for the suspension of sediment, water, solids, etc. It alsoprovides capability to effectively meet the standard requirements forblending where applicable. Driven by a horizontal foot-mounted electricmotor, which is mounted above the main mixer housing on a rigid-mountcast motor support with adjustment for correct belt tensioning. Hingepins and fasteners, etc. are zinc-plated to protect against harshenvironment conditions. The motor and mixer shafts are connected by abelt drive comprising a Goodyear Eagle Pd synchronous tooth belt sizedspecifically for the application. The mixer utilizes PhiladelphiaMixing’s Lancer Prop propeller design. Fixed-angle and swivel-anglemodels are available.
