McCrometer”sV2 System flowmeter features built-in flow conditioning and requiresminimum upstream/downstream straight-run piping (zero to threediameters upstream and zero to one diameter downstream). The meter is aparticularly good fit for line sizes from four to 18 inches, whereverirregular or crowded piping and equipment conditions make other flowtechnologies impractical or unworkable. It comes pre-packaged and readyto install with a built-in, three-way valve that isolates thetransmitter from the process fluid flow for easy maintenance withoutshutting down the pipeline. It arrives from the factory wet-flowcalibrated and is capable of measuring flow over a wide flow range from40 to 7,500 gallons per minute, depending on the line size.
