Registration is now open for the American Water Works Association’s 2013 Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE13), June 9-13, in Denver, Colo. The conference will feature seven in-depth, interactive workshops, 16 professional tracks and more than 550 presentations, plus an exhibit hall showcasing products and services.

AWWA says this year’s professional program has been reengineered to address the water sector demands for today’s needs and challenges, such as increasing regulatory demands, cultivating an informed workforce, replacing deteriorating infrastructure, and maintaining a financially sound organization.

More than 450 service providers will also exhibit at ACE13, showcasing innovative products and services from all aspects of the water industry. AWWA says exhibitors will offer hands-on understanding and expert insights from pipes to valves, meters to hydrants, engineering services to tank-related products, membrane filtration systems to laboratory equipment, security to wastewater, and more.

AWWA says ACE13 will be a unique networking opportunity with events focusing on diversity issues, young professionals, students, public officials, operators, international attendees, and first-time attendees. The annual Pipe-Tapping Contest, Top Ops Competition, Meter Madness, and the “Best of the Best” Water Taste Test will be held as well.
