Unifin Cardinal Valves”heavy-duty transformer oil valves are rated for temperatures rangingfrom –40 C (–40 F) to 100 C (212 F). All parts are made fromnon-corrosive or a suitably protected material to withstand outdoorexposure on external surfaces and hot transformer oil on internalsurfaces. Cardinalvalves are robust in design, so over-tightening or minor abuseencountered in handling or during factory/field installation will notresult in valve malfunction. The fasteners are designed toprevent loosening under normal operating conditions. The operatinghandle displays the valve’s open and shut position and can be manuallylocked in either position. Designed for use on new transformers or asreplacements on existing electrical transformers.  Available insizes ranging from two to eight inches, including ANSI standard andOEM-specific flange configurations.
