Precision Polymer Engineering to Make Elastomer Sealing Components at New US Manufacturing Facility

Elastomer components for the oil & gas industry will be molded at the new site, which will include cleanroom facilities for manufacturing components for the semiconductor industry.

On April 2, 2014, Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) began construction of a new 30,000 sq. ft. facility in Brenham, Texas. The facility, expected to be completed by October 2014, will manufacture custom o-rings and other elastomer sealing components for the company’s U.S. customers in the oil & gas and semiconductor industries.

Elastomer components for the oil & gas industry will be molded at the new site, and the facility will include cleanroom facilities for manufacturing components for the semiconductor industry.

As with PPE’s UK manufacturing site, the PPE facility in Texas will have its own tool-making, extrusion, and inspection capability.

Last year, PPE opened a new service center in the Houston area for its oil & gas customers.
