Chemineer’s portable DT mixer is fitted with industry-standard NEMA motors and gear motors from 0.25 to 5 horsepower and commercially available seals. The mixer offers a range of impellers, shaft lengths, and diameters with flanged or chuck-shaft couplings. It has a rugged cast-aluminum housing with a high-strength and low-weight design that includes an integral handle for easy positioning. It features a multidirectional clamp for horizontal and vertical adjustment. Optional mounts include cup-plate mounting for stability and threaded-bung mount for drum mixing with collapsible impeller. The mixer also features a shaft attachment – chuck or flanged couplings, eliminating potential problematic grip springs. All stainless housings and motors are available for cleanliness and corrosion protection. The mixer can be used for applications in chemical and petrochemical, polymers, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, water treatment, FGD/energy, biotechnology, agricultural processing, mineral processing, and pulp and paper markets.
