NewAge Industries” Newloc push-to-connect fittings are available in two materials — acetal and brass — for use with rigid and semi-rigid tubing, such as nylon, polyethylene, and polypropylene. The fittings provide instant leak-free connections with no flow restrictions. They can be installed quickly by pushing the end of the tube into the fitting and can be disconnected and reused. Styles include Ys, three- and four-way connectors, Ts and reducing Ts, elbows, straight connectors, swivel types, options for bulkhead applications, and others. Acetal fittings are made from lightweight, FDA-sanctioned materials and are listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF 51 and NSF 61). Available in both fractional and metric sizes from 1/8” through 1/2” and four mm through 12 mm. Support pressures up to 230 PSI and can handle full vacuum (29.9 in./Hg). Temperature use ranges from –4 F to 158 F. Brass fittings provide higher pressure and temperature ratings than their acetal counterparts. All male pipe threads are supplied with a pre-applied fluoropolymer sealant, and available sizes range from 1/8” to 1/2” (no metric options). Like Acetal versions, the brass models handle full vacuum. Nickel-plated fittings are also available.
