Oseco’sS-PRO-S combines a bursting disc and sensor into a single assembly,eliminating the need for tri-clamp ferrules to install a separatesensor. When the disc bursts, the sensor’s circuit is broken,triggering an alarm. With quick alarm detection, bursting discs can bereplaced and overpressure situations corrected with a minimum ofprocess downtime. The design minimizes product buildupand is a good fit for sanitary services; a nonfragmenting designprevents contamination from rupture disc pieces after bursting. Auni-body system, the unit is able to withstand full vacuum (14.7 PSI) without aseparate vacuum support. The system is available in range of sizes andis suited to a variety of applications in burst pressures from 16 to150 PSIG.
