The Hydraulic Institute, in collaboration with Henri Azibert, technical director of the Fluid Sealing Association and associated HI committee members, has developed an Advanced Mechanical Seals four-part webinar series focused on demystifying piping plans and support systems. The new series will begin May 22, 2014, with subsequent trainings on May 29, June 5, and June 12.

The Advanced Mechanical Seals webinar series is designed to provide an overview of the most common piping plans used today, outlining the pros and cons of over 15 different scenarios.

The webinar series will also involve discussions on the auxiliary equipment, design considerations, operating parameters, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting associated with each piping plan.

Basic calculations for estimating the performance of piping plans, as well as a spreadsheet to assist with evaluating systems, will be provided to attendees. A Q&A session will be conducted at the end of each section.

The cost for the webinar series is $299, with HI members receiving a 25 percent discount. The deadline to register for the series is May 22. For more information and to register, go here.
