ISSYS” Model 106 inline density meter can measure the density of liquids between values of zero to three gm/cc. Density measurements are often used to monitor chemical concentration of binary solutions. In the beverage industry sugar/water and ethanol/water are commonly measured in this manner. In the petrochemical industry density is often used to check what is coming out of a distillation column — the higher the density the thicker the petroleum product. The 106 has a bypass option such that larger diameter tubing/pipe can be used to support higher flowrates. The use of a MEMS chip does not restrict the flowrates that the meter can be used with.  It has a four to 20 mA or RS232 output.
