The tubing offers a wide range of bothtemperature and chemical resistance and is available in 60 and 75 ShoreA durometers. Vitube is used in applications such as appliances,chemical transfer, hot lubrication feeds, o-rings and seals, fuel andoil lines, cable jacketing, exhaust lines, solvent transfer, andperistaltic pumps. Vitube’s mainattribute is its resistance to a wide range of chemicals at elevatedtemperatures. It will withstand –30 F to 400 F continuously and highertemperatures on an intermittent basis. Vitube is manufactured to handlechemicals such as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons (carbontetrachloride, benzene, toluene, and xylene), oils, fuels, lubricants,and mineral acids. Black in color, it works well outdoors in sunlightand ozone.
