WILO EMU (www.wilo-emu-usa.com), a manufacturer of heavy-duty municipal and industrial pumps and mixers, is offering a lifetime warranty on the mechanical seals for its pumps in municipal applications, when eligibility requirements are met.
Eligibility requires the inclusion of a lifetime warranty in bid specifications and that wet wells be designed in conformance with the applicable sections of Hydraulic Institute (www.pumps.org) standards and best engineering practices. Further, all operational and maintenance requirements set forth by WILO EMU must be met. Warranties are only available for municipal wastewater applications.
The lifetime warranty is part of WILO EMU’s Sealed-For-Life program, which also includes nationwide 24/7/365 service; a five-year warranty on all pumps; a five-year 100 percent non-prorated warranty on all pumps; and a two-year warranty on mixers.
The lifetime mechanical seal warranty was announced last month in Dallas at WEFTEC 2006.
