Kaman Precision Products Inc. released its upgraded ParallelPro leveling tool. Designed initially for leveling in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) processes but useful for process control in any equipment requiring precise parallelism, the ParallelPro measures offset distance, parallelism and temperature. Measurements are transmitted via Bluetooth to any tablet running a dedicated app, which gives users the ability to save and analyze calibration data. The user-friendly graphic interface allows users to customize display units and calibration parameters. The ParallelPro is an upgraded version of Kaman’s proven leveling tool legacy design, incorporating modern communications, signal processing and power management technologies to increase functionality and extend product service life.
electromagnetic flowmeter
KROHNE Inc.’s TIDALFLUX 2300 F is an electromagnetic flowmeter that provides reliable flow measurement in pipes between 10% and 100% full. It features a non-contact sensor that is unaffected by oils and fats floating on the surface. Available in diameters to fit pipes up to 64 inches, TIDALFLUX 2300 F has high chemical and abrasion resistance to provide exceptional durability. The electromagnetic flowmeter features an integrated, non-contact capacitive level measurement and an approval for ATEX Zone 1 for use in hazardous environments. Wet-calibrated at the factory using a direct volume comparison, TIDALFLUX 2300 F does not require on-site calibration. It is available with IFC 300 F (PF) remote converter in-field housing. This means the IFC 300’s extended diagnostic functions, including application and device diagnostic as well as out-of-spec tests, are available for TIDALFLUX.

NewTek’s HT-1000 LVDT Position Sensor operates in environments with extreme temperatures such as those found in power plants, test laboratories, steam turbines, gas turbines and nuclear reactors. Constructed with a 1-inch diameter stainless steel housing, the HT-1000 LVDTs offer a 1000°F continuous operating temperature rating, high resolution, high sensitivity and excellent linearity of less than ±0.5% full range typical. Available in sizes from ±0.500 inch to ±1.0 inch, the HT-1000 Position Sensors are available in high-pressure configurations up to 3000 psi. These AC-operated sensors provide a ratiometric output for reduced thermal error. A through-bore design permits access to both ends of the unit’s core for better mechanic support and core guidance.
