Thermal flowmeters are primarily used in air and gas flow measurement. Within this category, thermal meters support a wide range of applications from flare gas measurement and monitoring to the measurement of inert nitrogen in tank blanketing applications. Thermal meters are a particularly good fit for applications where low flows are present, and they offer the advantage of direct mass measurement.
