The ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute (ISA100 WCI) is presenting a series of FREE webinars on key technical characteristics of the ISA-100.11a standard. The standard is intended to provide reliable and secure wireless operation for non-critical monitoring, alerting, supervisory control, open loop control, and closed loop control applications. The first webinar in this series airs on April, 5 2011.

This webinar is designed for individuals who are new to the standard. It will cover the basics and provide a framework for future more specialized webinars going forward.

The webinar will be presented by Jay Werb, technical director of the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute (WCI). Mr. Werb manages the organization”s technical projects and compliance programs and is also the editor and author of the data link layer (mesh) section of the ISA-100.11a standard. Werb has more than 30 years experience in the computer field with the last 15 years focused on wireless. He has been the technical founder of multiple technology companies and holds over a dozen patents. Mr. Werb has a bachelor”s degree in Biology and a master”s degree in Management, both, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
