Carltex’s line ofsanitary sample coolers are designed for taking samples for chemistry,conductivity, and microbiological studies from steam or heated watersystems. Thecoolers are specifically designed to be used inpharmaceutical plants and cleanrooms. They are constructed of brightpolished 316L stainless steel and include a bracket for wall mounting. The sample entersthe top of the cooler and flows downward through the self-drainingcoils of electropolished, seamless stainless steel. Available bothfixed or portable, the coolers can be steam sterilized orde-pyrogenated using a hot-air process. An illustration is of theportable unit is provided here.
