Ross SysCon’sLLPD mixer supports low-viscosity, turbulent flow mixing of fluids. Forone such application, the unit featured a special steam-sparging systemdown the center of a three-inch diameter mixer, permitting thecontinuous cooking of product. The sanitary, continuous design ensuresuniform mixing and cooking at high production rates (approx. 500 GPM).Prior technology required the product to be held for a lengthy periodin a batch cooker to ensure a uniform product before packaging. RossLLPD static mixers with sparging capability are supplied in a varietyof materials, including stainless steel, Hastelloy, and other specialalloys. A full range of diameters and lengths are available.
