Emerson Process Management (www.emersonprocess.com) changed the brand name of its TankRadar gauging systems from Saab Rosemount to Rosemount. The products have kept the Saab part of the name during a six-year transition since Emerson acquired Saab’s TankRadar line in 2001.
According to Emerson, the only change for customers will be the disappearance of the Saab name from the product brand. Emerson will continue to develop the Rosemount TankRadar technology, which has a strong presence in the oil, processing, and marine industries. In addition to development and manufacturing in Gothenburg, Sweden, the company also has development facilities in Linköping and Jönköping. Subsidiaries are located in several parts of the world, including India, North America, United Kingdom, and the Middle East.
