A Temporary Voluntary Allowance (TVA) is short term price relief which may be offered by Dow to its customers that can be withdrawn without notice at Dow”s discretion.

• VERSENE 220 Chelating Agent
According to Dow, the price increases are due to rising transportation costs in the wake of hurricanes Katrina and Rita on the Gulf Coast, as well as increasing feedstock and energy prices.
Meanwhile, Dow has already (Oct. 1) raised list- and off-list prices of all DOWTHERM high-temperature thermal fluids and related products in North America by 8 percent. This price increase will apply to the following products:

Rising raw materials, energy, and transportation costs are cited as the reasons for this price increase.
