Dover Corporation’s Fluids Segment has realigned its Pumps businesses, along with product line technologies, into three separate operating companies—Pump Solutions, Finder and Maag.

“In order to better focus on our customers’ needs, we have restructured our pump business into three operating companies,” Bill Spurgeon, president and CEO of Dover Fluids segment, said in an official announcement. “Our new organization enables us to add greater value and support to our customers.”

Karl Buscher was named president of Pump Solutions, which will be comprised of the following brands: Wilden, Blackmer, Neptune, Almatec, Mouvex, Griswold, Ebsray, and Quattroflow.  The Pump Solutions business will be headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.

Ueli Thuerig was named president of Maag.  This business will consist of Maag Pump Systems, Automatik Pelletizing Systems and Maag Filtration Systems and will be based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Lorenzo Barberi was named acting president of Finder, which designs and manufactures API-engineered pumps and systems for the global energy market, primarily oil & gas.  Finder is based in Merate, Italy.

“This new structure will enable us to provide unparalleled technology and applications knowledge to better service our customers,” Spurgeon said.  “We will also continue to focus our efforts on both organic and inorganic growth and leverage synergies across our Pumps Operating Companies.”

According to the announcement, Dover’s Pumps businesses have more than doubled in size as a result of both organic growth and acquisitions over the last six years.
