The market for gas flow measurement technology is hotter than ever, with revenues having grown significantly over the last few years and projections for further growth going forward, according to a new study by Flow Research, titled the World Market for Gas Flow Measurement, 2nd Edition.

Flow Research says new technology is making recovery and delivery of natural gas more feasible than ever before. As such, reserves in the North America and elsewhere are being more aggressively pursued as Westernized nations are looking to become less dependent on foreign suppliers. In the U.S., for instance, Flow Research says 87 percent of the natural gas consumed in 2009 was produced domestically.

In addition to the expansion in demand for natural gas and related energy products, market drivers include significant new capital project growth in large regional economies such as India, China, and the Middle East.

The World Market for Gas Flow Measurement, 2nd Edition features a core gas flow measurement study and five modules. Modules include: A. Natural Gas Producers Worldwide; B. Natural Gas Producers in Mideast/Africa; C. The World Market for Custody Transfer; D. Strategies, Industries & Applications; E. Dualphase/Multiphase Flowmeters.
