COX Instruments (www.cox-instruments.com), a supplier of liquid and gas flow measurement solutions, launched a new Web site, offering expanded product and application information for its turbine flowmeter line and related flow electronics.

The site provides access to product data bulletins, manuals, contact information, and quote requests. Users can also contact the COX Applications Engineering Department for assistance with proper system configuration and calibration for a range of fluid measurement requirements.

COX turbine meters provide a linear range from 15-to-1 on small meters, ranging up to 100-to-1 on two-inch meters, without the use of linearizing electronics. They also offer extended-range calibrations in the repeatable flow range of the flowmeter, with repeatability of 0.02 percent of reading. This performance is achieved through a precision helical-rotor design, proper use of rotor supports, and minimal bearing friction.

COX Instruments utilizes the services of Flow Dynamics Inc. (www.flow-dynamics.com) to perform all of its flowmeter calibrations. Flow Dynamics was the first independent flow laboratory to receive the NVLAP accreditation from the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST, www.nist.gov) in conformance with the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO, www.iso.org) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC, www.iec.ch). COX”s NVLAP-certified flowmeter calibrations are fully traceable to NIST guidelines and also comply with ISO 17025, ISO 9002, ISO Guide 25, ANSI/NCSL Z-540, and MIL-STD-45662A.
