Badger Meter has entered a mutually exclusive partnership with Telog Instruments, a developer and manufacturer of remote data acquisition systems that provides monitoring solutions to water and energy utilities. Badger Meter says the partnership will enable the company to sell water distribution system monitoring products from Telog Instruments as tools to complement the Badger Meter Advanced Metering Analytics (AMA) solution in the North American water utility market.

“We are excited about the opportunity to augment our AMA solution for water utilities with Telog’s industry-leading sensors and remote data collection capabilities,” said Kim Stoll, Badger Meter vice president of sales & marketing, in a press announcement. “This will enhance our customers’ monitoring capabilities by enabling more data collection points throughout the water distribution system, giving them better insight and the ability to detect issues earlier.”

Badger Meter is a manufacturer of flow measurement and control products, serving water and gas utilities, municipalities and industrial customers worldwide. Introduced in 2011, Badger Meter describes AMA as the next-generation of water and gas metering technology, designed to help utilities proactively manage their operations through information integration.
