McCrometer”sWafer-Cone flowmeter is approved by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)for use in coal-bed methane gas applications. The flowmeter is designedfor liquid or gas service in line sizes from 0.5 to six inches, whichmakes it a good fit for small process lines and many plantinfrastructure tasks. Applications range from chemical injection orfiltering in process lines to general plant needs, such as lines fornatural gas, chilled water supporting burners or ovens, coolingsystems, HVAC, and more. The flowmeterrelies on differential-pressure sensing technology, and its sensor isdesigned with built-in flow conditioning to achieve an accuracy of +/-0.5 percent, with a repeatability of +/- 0.1 percent.  It operatesover a flow range of 10:1. Straight pipe run requirement is zero tothree diameters upstream and zero to one diameters downstream from theflowmeter.
