Omega Engineering”sOM-CP-RFTC4000A is a portable, battery-powered, standalone,thermocouple-based temperature transmitter device. When enabled, thewireless transmitter will transmit readings back to the host computerwhere the data can be analyzed in real time. For added security thereadings are logged to the device memory. A slide switch allows thetransmitter to be turned on and off without affecting the operation ofthe device. Data is received at the PC using the device”s receiver thatattaches directly to the serial port. Received data is time and datestamped and stored directly on the PC. Windows software converts the PCinto a real-time strip chart recorder. Data can be printed in graphicalor tabular format and can also be exported to a text or Microsoft Excelfile.
