  DOE Offers Energy-Saving Webinars for Utils  
 
The U.S. Department of Energy's Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) is partnering with the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), the American Public Power Association (APPA), and APPA's Demonstration of Energy-Efficient Developments (DEED) to present a six-part series of industrial Webinars that will cover  energy topics relative to utilities and their industrial customers. The series kicked off with a general open session held in January, and then a second open session on public power hosted in February. Future topics include:

  • Financial Mechanisms and Incentives for Implementing Efficiency Measures (March 10)
  • Natural Gas Utility Efficiency Programs (April 14)    
  • Public Power Financial Incentives (May 12)
  • Combined Heat and Power Case Studies (June 9)
