Webinar participants will learn how to improve pump systems reliability when using Variable-Speed Drives (VSDs). The series will explain how VSDs may be used to accommodate duty cycles with variable flow and head as well as applications to avoid.

Energy optimization, life cycle reduction, single-phase to three-phase power conversion, and in-rush current reduction will be discussed in the series.

The following is a schedule for the Variable-Speed Drives 4-part webinar series:

Session 1 – Intro 101, Jan. 9, 2014, 1-2 p.m. EST

Session 2 – Application & Installation Considerations, Jan. 16, 2014, 1-2 p.m. EST

Session 3 – Protection for VFD & Proper Output, Jan. 23, 2014, 1-2 p.m. EST

Session 4 – Troubleshooting Problems with VFDs, Jan.30, 2014, 1-2 p.m. EST

To register for the upcoming VSD series, visit www.PumpSystemsMatter.org or contact Lori Siegfried, marketing & events coordinator for Hydraulic Institute, at 973.267.9700 ext. 112 or [email protected].
