About the Industrial Flow Measurement Seminar

This seminar is presented by David W. Spitzer (ISA Life Fellow), renowned flow measurement expert and author of the best-selling textbook Industrial Flow Measurement (included with seminar). The training is designed for individuals who aim to improve the efficiency of their fluid handling processes through effective flow measurement techniques. The training is a good fit for technicians, engineers, managers, sales persons, marketing persons, purchasing agents, accountants, lawyers, and others seeking knowledge in flow measurement applications and associated equipment. This seminar is designed to benefit persons entering the field as well as experienced individuals, drawing upon Mr. Spitzer's many years of study and hands-on experience with a wide range of flow measurement technologies and application scenarios. 

Who Is David W. Spitzer?


David W. Spitzer

After earning his MSEE in Optimal Control, David W. Spitzer spent the next 25 years gaining experience in many facets of instrumentation, process control, electrical, and utility engineering, including conceptualization, estimating, design, construction, startup, operation, troubleshooting, and teaching. David is a registered Professional Engineer and also served on the board of directors of Weed Instrument. He has worked for United States Steel, Mobay Chemical, and Nepera Chemical, and has consulted for numerous other companies worldwide. David is currently on the editorial advisory boards of Flow Control and Intech magazines, and serves on various ASME committees for the measurement of fluid flow. David is also the author of several textbooks used in the industry and has taught training seminars for over 25 years.
